But what are TYVA Energie’s batteries other applications? In the air, on land or at sea, our lithium batteries are with you everywhere.

Electric mobility is core to our applications, whether for scooters, buses, sports car or even off grid construction equipment, we do it all.

We can also fit electric boats or underwater robots thanks to our IP65 and IP67 batteries.

In town, you can also spot our batteries in a good number of street furniture.

For those who like to control everything in one click, it’s possible. You can monitor all your batteries from one single secure space.

Located in Annonay in the Ardèche region, our brand-new production site of 1600 m² is divided into 2 parts.

Coworking and relaxation areas dedicated to creativity on one side, which will put our engineers’ brains in drive, allow us to receive your project requests and drink a few coffees from time to time.

In fact, human values are essentials to us. Despite our strong growth, we are keeping our startup spirit. By the way, don’t hesitate to pay us a visit, that would be great!

On the other side, you can find the production site where our lithium batteries are produced or reconditioned on our brand-new automated assembly line. Let us show you around.

Cells are routed to the automated line. Robots take then care of the assembly. You can see it here with the Ax technology.

Once the assembly is completed, a dual verification is carried out – by robot and man before going to the expedition stage and be delivered at your place.

TYVA Energie’s story in video! Part I

Rather than making long speeches, we decided to present our company TYVA Energie, its products and different applications as a video.

In this first part, you’ll discover the story of our company. Enjoy and see you next week for the second part 😉

TYVA Energie was founded in France in a small garage of Ardèche by Thierry Claudel in October 2013. For those who don’t locate Ardèche, it’s here – fear not, we know it’s hard to find us on a map 😉

Well, speaking of Ardèche, we are going to tell you about our values as they are closely linked to our beautiful region.

Indeed, Ardèche is well known for its preserved and luxuriant nature; our batteries’ DNA reflects this picture – they are ecological.

The batteries we design and manufacture are part of the circular economy: like the phoenix rising from the ashes, they have several lives.

Besides, our region having a strong industrial fabric, we favour short supply circuits. Our partners and suppliers are located less than an hour from our headquarters.

In addition to the “Made in France,” innovation is what drives us. Thanks to innovation, we can provide premium high-technology products always more qualitative, efficient and resistant.

But fear not! Though we are from Ardèche, the world doesn’t scare us!

Our flexibility allows us to provide you with tailor made lithium batteries with fast delivery in several countries. As proof, we have already sold 65 000 first generation batteries in 6 years in more than 20 countries. 

Let’s talk about figures now, because since 2013 a lot has happened at TYVA Energie.

Thierry came out of his garage in 2015 to move in real premises, which will continually grow along with the turnover and number of employees.

In 2020, our new building will be operational with a brand-new automated line. Come on, we will show you around!

French battery manufacturer TYVA Energie invests €2,4million in a new production site in Annonay

Facing an ever-increasing growth, French lithium battery maker is building a new production plant in Annonay, located an hour from Lyon. The latter will include a brand-new automated line, allowing TYVA Energie to assemble its modular and innovative batteries in record time starting June 2020.


TYVA Energie manufactures and assembles lithium batteries in Annonay since 2013. The French battery supplier wishes to continue strengthening its commitment in the town and its wealthy industrial region by building a brand-new plant and an automated production line.

This choice reflects the battery maker’s involvement in the circular economy. Indeed, it’s suppliers and partners are located less than an hour from the headquarters. To sustain its ever-increasing growth, TYVA Energie plans to hire 10 new employees in 2020.

Ecology as highpoint

This new production site and brand-new automated line of 1600 m² are partly financed thanks to the European subsidy awarded in the framework of Horizon 2020’s project, the European programmes for research and technological development 2014-2020.

This positive-energy building’s project was designed by the architectural consultants EAD. The building will include a battery assembly unit of 1200 m² along with an automated line enabling the production and reconditioning of TYVA Moduloo battery modules.

A test and qualification laboratory for lithium batteries will be integrated to the new building. Moreover, a workspace of 400 m² dedicated to R&D will be part of the project along with several coworking spaces.

This will allow the battery manufacturer to further develop its core business, innovation, to provide its customer premium high-technology products always more qualitative, efficient and resistant.

Thus, this new project builds on TYVA Energie’s history, aiming at ever more reducing its environmental impact. Indeed, the French manufacturer will use lithium ion battery for solar renewable energy storage thanks to photovoltaic panels set up on the roof of the building to ensure its energy self-sufficiency.

Ever more qualitative lithium batteries

TYVA Moduloo’s battery’s strength lies in their modularity. Thanks to a high flexibility and adaptability, the French manufacturer offers its clients bespoke lithium batteries with fast delivery in several countries.

This new building paired with its automated line will enhance its strengths with a total annual production capacity of 160 MWh, enabling electrical vehicles to be fitted/equipped with TYVA Energie’s lithium batteries.

In addition to electrical mobility vehicles (batteries for electrical scooters, buses, cars, constructions vehicles, boats, etc.) this new tool fully operational end of June 2020, will enable TYVA Energie produce lithium batteries for a variety of applications such as robotics or energy storage.

ERAOLE Hybrid electric aircraft battery

TYVA MODULO develops their own elements for electric aircraft batteries. For this reason, Océan Vital needs a lithium battery manufacturer.

The history of transatlantic flights is indeed rich with the legendary performances of Lindbergh, Mermoz, Rutan, and others.
However, all these flights were running on fossil fuels which are based on resources with scheduled depletion, and have proven harmful effects! The 1st Eraole® carbon-free, non-stop flight will be a performance “pioneer” with major environmental interest for the future of aviation, and for tomorrow’s sustainable transport.

I am Raphaël DINELLI, aircraft pilot and head of the Laboratoire Océan Vital dedicated to renewable energy.

In the last 7 years – sponsored by the major aviation specialists – we have developed an electric aircraft, Eraole, which represented France at the COP21, last December. This aircraft is the result of the major technological advances – it associates electric propulsion with solar power and with energy derived from a marine algae fuel, and has outstanding range and very low carbon emissions.

In a few months, I shall fly this aircraft alone, following Charles Lindbergh’s record path across the Atlantic, from New York to Le Bourget. ÉRAOLE will then become the first eco-friendly certified electric aircraft in the world, with such a long range.

Custom-made battery for picking trolleys, Signature Logistic

Signature Logistic For more than 20 years has been developing a unique know-how in designing and producing “pick to light” and “put to light” solutions. These skills are used for an optimised management of orders, kits and part assembly preparation. The company is involved in many sectors, including logistics, e-commerce, the food industry, the automotive, retailing, pharmaceutical industries and cosmetics.

  • Customised logistics is individualized logistics which involves the delivery of many items in small quantities, to a large number of recipients. Hence, it imposes a complex flow process requiring maximum optimisation. Signature Logistic designs and produces custom-made tools, suited to the needs of their clients.
  • Beyond the “pick/put to light” technology which is the core-skill of the company, Signature Logistic has an audit capacity allowing them to guide businesses towards the best suited solutions for their trade, their environment, and the skills required for their design, their production and their follow-up.
  • The purpose of “pick/put to light” solutions and Signature is to reduce and even put an end to preparation errors, to make operator integration into the work station easier and to increase productivity.

Signature Logistic

Amongst the overall solutions produced by Signature Logistic, certain are autonomous, such as picking trolleys or computer trolleys, and require an on-board power supply. Already provider of lead battery units, the company turned to TYVA ENERGIE in order to extend its range with lithium-ion battery units which are lighter than lead. The innovative design of TYVA MODULOO was retained by Signature because it perfectly corresponds to the custom-made positioning of the company. The modular design of each unit is used for designing a trolley without the volume of the power source being a constraint.
